I find quite often on here i forget that I am talking to actual people that have jobs, lives, families and interests. It somehow starts to seem like I am debating against a great machine and i do not know how to communicate with a machine. I thought that if we had some knowledge of each other of what our interests are our hobbies our jobs ect. that we may be able to find better ways of explaining ourselves to each other. Being able to use examples of things that are farmiliar to us makes things much easier and avoids confusion. One thing I think was brilliant about Jesus was this ability to use a story/parable to describe a concept. Sometimes this method of communication is actually much clearer than a direct statement.
I am a newly wed man who loves the Lord Jesus and his wife very much. I am an avid musician playing just about any instrument I can get my hands on, (though mostly a guitarist) with a general interst in just about any art form. I also have a love of athletics, I love sports, mainly Hockey, basketball, and football (not soccer, though i do like soccer). I am quite thankful for the gifts that God has given me in these areas as they are a constant joy in my life.
Through reading on this site I have also developed a very keen interest in geology, this subject facsinates me though i know little about it compared to most on this site. I absolutely love to learn this is something my mother has instilled in me and i enoy research and study on just about any topic.
I love to joke around. Alot of times some things i say are taken much more seriously than i meant them. I tend to like to show contrasts alot and will use extreme examples from both sides to show a difference, so my examples get critisized alot. Trying to use more smily faces to show this.
This is all I can think of for now, I will add more later as it comes to me.

You guys must be nuts. I've been lucky being a prairie dweller all my life never to have seen a tornado. I don't think I'd personally go chase after them, having seen the effects of the awesome power of these storms. I always kind of wondered what drove people to chase after storms, especially when we can never really tell what such a storm will do. To my knowledge they are very unpredictable as to which way they will go or where they will touch down. Definately wouldn't want to guess wrong! I am personally fascinated lately with volcanoes and eathquakes. Having felt the after shocks of an earthquake a couple years ago, pretty disturbing feeling when the ground seems to take on liquid properties. I'm not used to the ground moving as where i live things are pretty stable.
