I don't think that any of the examples which you give are necessarily outside of empiricism. Certainly, it can be very difficult to research feelings accurately, but that's where the concept of qualitative analysis comes in.

I'm afraid that I couldn't without making an ass of myself.
If you're suggesting that phenomenology is the same thing as qualitative analysis, then I don't necessarily disagree with you, but I hold that qualitative analysis can be a part of empirical science.
