This sounds like it may be original thinking! And yes, you are out of your league in a debate on the subject of DNA. So am I. But I think you'll find Gene 90 and a few others in here are very well versed.
Your question reminds me of a thought I had on the same subject. I wondered if the Hebrew, which is often so obscure as to defy translation, might have been saying something simple and poetic, like:
Eve was "made" by a "rib" which came out of Adam's "side"! Eh?
