You guys must be nuts.
I've been lucky being a prairie dweller all my life never to have seen a tornado. I don't think I'd personally go chase after them, having seen the effects of the awesome power of these storms.
I always kind of wondered what drove people to chase after storms, especially when we can never really tell what such a storm will do. To my knowledge they are very unpredictable as to which way they will go or where they will touch down. Definately wouldn't want to guess wrong!
I am personally fascinated lately with volcanoes and eathquakes. Having felt the after shocks of an earthquake a couple years ago, pretty disturbing feeling when the ground seems to take on liquid properties. I'm not used to the ground moving as where i live things are pretty stable.
