This is a long way from adequate as "paper". If one takes the perspective of a user of computer monitors it appears fine only because monitors are so horribly, awfully, poor.
Note that your inkjet printer has 3 or more times the resolution of this stuff. It has to get to 300 or better (600 for good quality) dpi before you have a comptitor to paper and printing.

note that I'm viewing this at 1280x1024 on a 19" LCD monitor. To be paper quality the resolution would have to be more like 4000 x 3000. We are a long way from "good enough".
