I don't have much to say on the subject because I don't know much about it but I thought that this was pretty interesting. Apparently Jim Hough of Glasgow University thinks he has developed a way to detect gravity waves. The precision of his calculation is "It's equivalent to measuring a change of one hydrogen atom diameter in the distance from the Earth to the Sun"
