Re: The Spider Sums it Up --Arachnophilia
Second, although I suppose retread ground, it was done efficiently and I may use bits in the future. I loathe haeckel arguments, but it was nice to get more info on exactly what certain embryonic features are.

Omnivorous
Omnivorous in post 17 in the Coffee House thread on sexual morality.
Actually there are some very nice posts there by everyone (esp Crash), but this was a beautifully worded analysis of moral systems in general. It breaks down how all systems are relative, and what judgements from one system means to participants of another system.
This could have been useful in any thread on morality, but does nicely here in the context of science effecting morality, and those wanting to impose morals... as if they could!

Re: Spirited defense of spiritless world
Seconded. Although I might argue with the proper definition of nihilism, Robin states at the outset that it is a personal definition being used within the post.
I thought it was an extremely creative way to explore the perspective of those without a belief in an objective meaning to the world.
Is it my imagination or are the quality of posts escalating since the Poster of the Year thread came out?
