looks like our team is slipping rank folks, so an additional member or two would help. maybe an arm or a leg?
results moving up though. we broke the 4k barrier.

I am not a number!
But I have become Number 10
Just signed up my laptop - have to start leaving it on a bit longer!
Don't know how much run-time it will get, but while signing up I did notice (unexpectedly) that there is a Linux version. I have a Linux box that's not doing much currently, so I'll see if I can get that hooked up as well.

Linux version
Yes, I saw that too. I am considering converting, having an unused second hard-drive from another laptop that died. This would be a full swapout reconfiguration to only linux on the other hard-drive, followed by installation of opensuite software for general use, a browser (gotta hava browwer), etc.
My big concern is drivers and operating software for things like my dvd/cd-writer, printers, scanners, camera, and the like.
Welcome aboard, 10!

Yup, I'm in with a first home box. Hope to add several in the office this week, and over the coming weeks will be adding FrankenPuters here at home.

Okay, first office device added; I'll try to set up one more office box today...
I have my eye on a new high-end XP box that sits idle 95% of the time (when not crunching 24-hour EKG recordings)--just have to add it to the DSL-linked network. My goal is 10 boxes in total by the end of the year...

three in one day
We picked up three new members yesterday. My thanks go out to each of them.
But...
frankly, the response from the EvC family sucks. We have over 3000 members, yet only 11 members so far have stepped up and accepted the challenge to help out in this most worthwhile cause.
Come on family. Is this the best that we can do?

My evil twin insisted on his own account.
(you can run multiple devices)
I didn't read the instructions.
I suppose I could retire one account and then "un-retire" the device on the remaining account? I'll be glad to do that if it will help your calculations.

People who think they have all the answers usually don't understand the questions.
