Re: Mark24 at a "Great Debate" topic he shouldn't have posted in
IMHO the best procedure in this case, as valuable as the content of the messages might be (and I think both messages were very good, very important, is to remove that content.
The nature of a Great Debate is meant to be a limited discussion betwen two individuals. Additional input, no matter how good, no matter how much it adds to the content, is not appropriate.
However, in this case a moderator has already stepped in and made a decision and Mark24 has responded and said he would not post further. I would let this one stand as is.

Re: Closing of Thread by Jar... what the???
I think I pretty much covered the reasoning in the response when I closed the thread. If you want to keep links and content like that on your hard drive, fine. But the Coffee House is not a personal filing cabinet. I've read your responses here as well as reread the initial OP and still see no reason for it's existence or continuation.

Re: Do something abour Randman and Faith
While we like to try to maintain standards here, we also understand that we are dealing with two entirely different methods of thinking and approaches to both evidence and interpersonal relationships. We know that Atheists and Agnostics as well as most Buddhists, Taoists, Wiccans, Satanists, Muslims, Jews, Druids, Hindus and Animists are capable of, and regularly behave in a Christ-like manner. For that reason, we may hold them to a higher standard.

    Re: Do something about JAR
Please prove me wrong. Try behaving.
    Actions speaak louder than words.
If your behavior shows me wrong, all will see it and be amazed.
