Re: God's game
What are you talking about?
I'm talking about where you called him "ignorant" and "arrogant." That's name-calling. Or do you deny that you made those posts?
You seem to have a very short memory indeed for the slanders you so casually toss about. How very Christian of you, I suppose.

Re: God's game
Good grief, go back and reread my Message 209!! It was a word-for-word copy of his post to me, to demonstrate that it is possible to say the same things back to him from the Biblical point of view -- although I would not use that language myself he DID and the point was to demonstrate that his arrogant attitude against Bible believers is simply the product of his own narrow vision.

Before that, though. Or did you forget the messages you posted before that?

Re: God's game
I have been parodying him for many posts. What is your problem. My point has been to show that "two can play that game."

Uh-huh. See, the funny thing about sinking to your opponent's level is that it makes you look pretty stupid when you try to take the moral high road, too.
I say "sinking", but, of course, you've been down there all along. There's not a single thread you can participate in that doesn't devolve into a name-calling match, or one of your spectacular eruptions of invective. I suspect we're in for one here, any time now.

Re: God's game
I have news for you Faith, those "parodies" of yours only showed how threadbare your arguments against science are. It always comes down to your magical book against observable facts and I'll choose the facts over a book any day.

"To me religion is a fantasy and reasonable adults would be better off without it."
Just another ridiculously self-righteous rude remark. You should have been suspended pages ago for your unbelievable rudeness. Sorry I ever bothered responding to you. Parody doesn't even work does it -- because you don't recognize your own nonsense when it's shown to you. But here's another just for the record:
To me evolution is a fantasy and reasonable adults would be better off without it.

Re: God's game
Well I'll play nice and not encourage any further name calling. I probably should not have listed the names of two posters as examples in the one post and I'll not repeat that mistake.

Re: God's game
You're right, people are too obtuse to appreciate the point of the parody. But I'd point out about threads that deteriorate into namecalling that it is an interesting fact that YOU are on them.

I take it as a compliment that my arguments are generally so airtight that my opponents have no resort but invective to try to get a rise out of me.

Ok so my opinions are "self-righteous rude" but when you state
Since God certainly does trump Science and the ToE is wrong, it is you who are ignorant and will someday know it.
you somehow aren't? What gives your opinions more weight than mine?
Your statement here
To me evolution is a fantasy and reasonable adults would be better off without it.
really just shows that you reject science, which has verifiable evidence.

I doubt that anyone didn't see your point. You disagree that your belief in God can be offhandedly dismissed and would like others to see that their own belief systems can be just as easily dismissed. The thing is: it wasn't funny and it added nothing to the debate besides a "nuh uhhh."

Re: God's game
But remember, if you 'respond yes' to God, it is only by the workings of the conscience that he gave you. If you respond no then it is of yourself - it is against the conscience he gave you. Yes comes from him, no comes from you
It's still a test. One makes a choice--oneself or God. It's possible to pass or fail the test.

I didn't say they carry MORE weight. The point is all YOURS are is opinion, couched in unbelievably arrogant rude language, and mine have no LESS weight.
Your statement here

really just shows that you reject science, which has verifiable evidence.
And as I pointed out to you all your statements "just show that you reject" God, who has 4000 years of recorded eyewitness evidence.
[And P.S. Rejecting the ToE is not rejecting science as the last thing the ToE is is science.]

There is no eyewitness evidence. Only fabrications of evidence; and, in many cases, outright fabrication of the witness ("I know a guy who saw Jesus.")
