A Whale of a tale problem?

I just posted msg 16 to this forum. I think Yaro posted a 17. When I click on 17 on the All Topics list I get a "just logged out screen" -- which I had done.When I look at the second page of msgs I see only my 16.??

happened to me too. I thik it's cuz we both tried to reply at the same time. It's working fine for me now.

But there is no Yaro msg 17 it is a RM 17.

It is likely only a problem with the update to the message index. That should be resolved when we move to the next version of dBoard.

I know, mine didn't go thrugh. It gave me an error like you. I decided not to post it as essentially you said what I was going to say.

I have seen this, in other threads.I compose a post, and push "Submit". After a little while, I am informed that message 77 (or whatever number) does not exist.If I recall correctly, I have had this happen 3 times. In two of those times, the message showed up a while later. On the third time a message of the indicated number showed up, but it was not my message.As jar indicated, this appears to be an indexing problem. The index will eventually be rebuilt by a future post. But on an active thread, it might result in two people writing the same message.
