I don't think your statement about Aten is correct. I'm fairly sure that an older monotheistic religion is described in the Prisse papyrus, which would place a monotheistic religion in Egypt around 1000 years before Moses.
From the little I do know about Aten, I understand there may be some evidence to indicate that YHWH and Aten apparently bear remarkable similarities (both being variations on the phrase 'I am what I am') as well as speculation that Moses and Akhenaten may have been the same person.
