Randman Suspended
Randman believes that evolutionist behavior in this forum is so bad that it justifies any kind of behavior he cares to exhibit, and that he doesn't have to follow the Forum Guidelines or pay attention to moderator requests to follow the Forum Guidelines. I'm going to leave the suspension in place permanently, and I respectfully request that other moderators not restore his posting privileges. Randman can send me email at any time stating that he is ready to abide by the Forum Guidelines, follow moderator requests, and not take anyone else's misbehavior as an excuse to do whatever he likes, at which time I will restore his privileges. To everyone else here at EvC Forum I have this message: this is a forum for discussing creation/evolution issues, not a place to whine about how terrible and unfair one side or the other is. If you can't do anything but whine about the other side, then please take your act elsewhere.

Just a little more information on suspensions... Few have probably noticed the little suspension icon ( ) since there are almost no suspensions at present. If you hover your mouse cursor over the suspension icon (not this one, over one for someone who's actually suspended) it will display the time and date when the suspension expires, the number of hours and minutes until the suspension expires, and the reason for the suspension. The suspension icon is displayed next to the name of any member who is suspended, except on the Member List page, where suspensions have their own column on the far right hand side of the table. Click on the "susp" table heading and you'll get a list of everyone who's suspended.

Re: Rob suspended for 2 hour "cooling off" period
Can you duplicate the behavior? Pick some inactive spammer account and experiment with it, point me to it when you succeed. Use a longer suspension than 2 hours in case I don't get to it right away.

Faith and AdminFaith Permanently Suspended
It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Faith and her moderator counterpart AdminFaith have been permanently suspended. All I can say publicly is to cite unspecified irreconcilable differences. Faith has made innumerable contributions to EvC Forum in her time here, and for that we are profoundly grateful. We wish her well in all her endeavors both on and off the Internet. Casey Powell aka JesusFighter Permanently Suspended
He's managed to get himself suspended three times in two days. He sends nice emails to moderators pledging to try harder to get the hang of things, then starts right back in as before. He's posted to 26 different threads in two days. I'm making his suspension permanent, and I don't believe the suspension should ever be lifted.
