The Big Bang, according to a 24-year-old "political officer" at NASA, is not even a "theory," but just an "opinion." And this kid apparently has the power to forbid actual scientists to give interviews on global warming, as well. And you can guess who appointed him.

I read about that yesterday.
Maybe it is time to go back to adding a signature to posts.

...we have political officers? Can any of the Bush apologists explain to me how we haven't become the Soviet Union?

"political" is in quotes

Not yet. It appears that the guy is actually a public-affairs officer.

That is an easy one. The US is becoming a fascist nation. From Wikipedia:
quote:
Fascism is typified by totalitarian attempts to impose state control over all aspects of life: political, social, cultural, and economic. The fascist state regulates and controls (as opposed to nationalizing) the means of production. Fascism exalts the nation, state, or race as superior to the individuals, institutions, or groups composing it. Fascism uses explicit populist rhetoric; calls for a heroic mass effort to restore past greatness; and demands loyalty to a single leader, often to the point of a cult of personality.

Why is a YEC trying to censor scientific material because of his religious beliefs of only "marginal" relevance to the creation/evolution debatw ??
