Re: Iano in the Marriage Thread
he is IMO dominating that thread
Given the discussion that developed, I would have preferred had I been able to "sacrifice" myself to the women involved. Insofar as I went out to achieve something (showing Gods order for marriage maintaining equality between women and men - notwithstanding His use of the word 'submit') the response show me that I failed.
But thank you all the same Jazzns.

A very nice metaphor

As suggested by Prophex, but also because Schrafinator presented an apt and very useful metaphor (and a mouth-watering one at that), ready-made for me to build on, to provide Prophex with an answer to his very pertinent question about the value of life.

All that good Jazz!

Jazzns hits the nail on the head IMHO with his statement.
Jazzns writes:
I think all of this stems from some strange desire of Christians to effectivly eliminate sin via our own works rather than doing what they should be which is proclaim the ultimate sin remover Jesus Christ.
That is the problem with much of the evangelical right. They simply won't concentrate on Christ and instead try and legislate morality all sorts of ways! Anyway, good post, Jazzns!

Probably a lot of POTM messages have slipped by the wayside. This is one I though worth flagging.

My initial doubts were unvoiced, so I suppose I'm eating muted crow, but AdminBuzsaw is doing a superbly evenhanded job.
I had already been surprised by previous AdminBuzsaw messages, but now I'm convinced: moderating doesn't get much better than this.
Great job, Buz.

Hi Omni. My apologies for not responding to your kind and encouraging remarks here. I guess it being near the end of the month I missed being aware of it. Thanks very much!
