Being a former creationist, I can't say that I fully understand the creation "theory" and why, according to creationists, it should be approached and taught as a scientific theory. This thread is intended for the local creationists and intelligent design proponents to present a general case for creationism or intelligent design. Some specific evidence will be great.
Based on my understanding of the creation side, the "theory" generally states something like the following:
Evidence
You, me, everyone else in the world, and the intricate balances that are found both in nature and societies are evidence of creation. The balances, specifically, are so synchronized and harmonious that there must have been thought put into creating them rather than random chance dictating over these balances.
Predictability Power
A single divine being is behind all the splendor of existence and that he never changes. In other words, to understand the true nature of his creation, we must seek him out and understand the "personality" that is behind everything.
Falsification Criteria
Prove without a doubt that we evolved from a primordial soup, the earth was created from the big bang, or that evolution occurs.
Everything I stated above came from my very limited knowledge of what creation is all about. Please correct me if I am wrong, and feel free to add and/or edit.
Also, I really intend this thread to be more of a presentation by the creation side rather than a debate. Directing at evolutionists, if you are going to participate please refrain from responding to a creationist claim. I'd really like the evolution side's participation to be limited to only questions.
This thread should be a non-threatening mean for creationists to present their evidence, ideas, hopes, etc.
I really don't know where this thread should go.
