Hmmm, not sure how to take that Certainly not that (in)famous! He seems to have done well now though with his move to my old home (DAMTP-GR). I was originally QG (well actually originally I was going into number theory but I got sidetracked.)If you don't mind me asking what do you do (vague if you wish) that allowed the same intellectual challenge? That's why I could never leave science - the fear of boredom.

But I find the discussion fascinating.Would you good folk consider starting a new thread (coffeehouse) where this could continue? I think it would be exciting to see how many of us view challenge, boredoom and what we fear.
