What if you didn't make a mistake, but got pregnant anyway? Consentual sex or non-consentual?
Oh, and by the way, if I make an "honest mistake" while driving my car and unintentionally kill someone, I can still be prosecuted for manslaughter, which is a serious crime. Mansaulter is not murder.Prosecutred or convicted? If a person knowingly drives a car drunk, he is responsible for the damage he does, it is no longer an accident. If a person knowingly has sex, then they are responsible for the life that may begin afterwards. It is not an accident. If I caused an accident while drunk, and there was a mother and child in the car, and I killed the mother, abortion would be the equivelent of killing the child as punishment, instead of prosecuting me.

Clearly physical growth is completely unrelated to any "will to survive." You are taking things out of context again. We are talking about the physical, not the mental. The objective, not the subjective.

So, do tumors that keep growing unless we disturb them have a will to survive? That is a terrible comparison. So fetus's are tumors now? You guys are sick. You and brenna. Tumor is a threat to the life of it's host. They happen by accident, not because they got banged or popped.

You are taking things out of context again. No, I'm not. There's no context where your statement is correct.
We are talking about the physical, not the mental. The objective, not the subjective. You're still wrong. Physically, there's no such thing as will. Objectively, consciousness is required to have will. Will is not physical, it's mental. To suggest that a fetus continuing to grow constitutes the presence of a "will to survive" is beyiond idiotic, for the reason I mentioned earlier (physical life processes have continue in the absence of a will to survive) and because a fetus doesn't have the requisite mental equipment to even have a will. Don't accuse me of taking your garbage "out of context." If there was a context where your statement expressed something true, I would have addressed it in that context.

Tumor is a threat to the life of it's host. So is a fetus.

You're still wrong. Physically, there's no such thing as will. Will to survive does not mean what you turned it into (garbage). Many things that do not have a conscience can be described as having a "will to survive". Will, in the saying "will to survive" does not mean "will" of the conscience. So you took the saying out of context twice now. Does bacteria have a will?

So is a fetus. No it's not. Otherwise it would have the same name. Isn't this retarded?

Many things that do not have a conscience can be described as having a "will to survive". No, they can't. It takes a mind to have a will. There's no context where your statement was remotely correct, RR. Let it go.
Does bacteria have a will? No, they don't. Neither a will to survive, nor any other will. No more than water has a "will to run downhill."

No it's not. Otherwise it would have the same name. ...what? What would have the same name as what? The problem with your baseless accusations of "taking things out of context" is that your posts rarely have any context that would shed light on their meaning. I would reccommend you attempt to write and reason with a greater emphasis on clarity.

yes. bearing live children is an immense risk to the mother. in order to be able to develop our amazing (but apparently useless) brains, we took that risk instead of laying our eggs and leaving them.

how does bacteria not have a will if humans do? they are alive; they have horizontal sex in order to share traits they need; they have moving parts and attack what they intend to eat. just because they are smaller than you they don't have a will but you do? that's stupid.

how does bacteria not have a will if humans do? No brain. Does water have a will because it always moves to the lowest avaliable place?

No, they don't. Neither a will to survive, nor any other will. No more than water has a "will to run downhill." If one kind of bacteria attack another kind, would one survive?
