What in the world? (Name that mystery object)

Just for the fun of it I'd like to start a thread on identifying common objects.Here's how it works.I will provide a picture of an objcet. The goal is to identify what it is and what its primary purpose is. It may well have secondary purposes, things that it CAN be used for beyond its primary purpose, but they will not answer the question. and actually there is a common part missing from the photo, one that should not affect the identification, but that I took off to use for some other device. If you have a picture of the object with the missing part and happen to be the one who first identifies this one, maybe you can post a pic with the missing part included.Remeber, additional views are available if someone feels they are needed.

well thats the only thing I'd call that object, although I haven't seen one with that forked tip before so I believe you that it is something else....but I don't know.cool thread idea, BTW

Nah, and it really is something with a specific Primary Purpose. And it ain't clipping nails.So one more pic. This should really help you folk.

Well, it is a multi-function tool, but all the tools are for one Primary Purpose. There's a big hint related to that in all the pictures.
