Strips used for corrosion testing? The are used for disinfection validation. They are called "TOSI coupons". That stands for Test Object Surgical Instrument. They have sythetic blood and fibrin coated on them and if you can clean the fake blood and fibrin off of them, then you can clean the real blood and fibrin off of surgical instruments.
