Search this thread and you'll see that words like "prove" and "proving" are used by no one but you, so please do not again blame others for leading you into this. Hi Omni,

The topic is micro- versus macroevolution. Discussions about the flood and the ark probably belong in a different thread, except as they might bear directly on the topic. There's probably an open thread where such a discussion could resume.

Discussions about philosophical approaches to knowledge and understanding also belong elsewhere. Buzsaw has raised similar issues recently, maybe it's time for such a thread in [forum=-11].

I'm slowly catching up with this thread after last night's discussion.

This thread isn't about the flood. It also isn't about definition of kinds. It isn't about the definition of species, either, except as it might bear on the difference between micro- and macroevolution.

Except as it bears directly on the difference between micro- and macroevolution, I don't think a discussion about probability belongs in this thread. If I could quote Subbie from the OP (bolded text from the original):
