Author | Topic: Does The Flood Add up? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Hinduism isn't the oldest religion. That is contrary to scripture. Hinduism never existed before the flood. Once the ark landed on Mount Ararat in Turkey, They settled there for a while. Once Noah died, they went off in different directions and founded our planet's oldest empires: Egypt, Greece, and China. Hinduism is mainly along the way to china (In India, Mongolia etc.) I believe hinduism was developed along the way to China's founding place. And of course Noah Was somewhat a jew. He believed in God and the sacrifices etc. We just Kind of think of Abraham as Judaism's founder. But he just set up most of the laws and stuff. He Believed in God. Not all the Hindu Gods. And If Hindu's did exist in the pre-flood era somehow, the religion would have been wiped out. Noah took his family and the animals: the only God fearing people on the planet at the time were Noah and his family. None of them were hindus! lol

Hi Ben,
This thread is in our geology forum. The flood is discussed here from a geological perspective and demands objective evidence to back up claims. Your post isn't on topic here, and we try very hard to keep our threads topical. In the future, it may help to pay attention to what forum a thread is on, the title of the thread, and the topic of the thread which is generally laid down in the opening post. Another issue that helps things run smoothly around here is the little green arrow reply button on the bottom right of each and every post. Using this reply button when posting to a particular post puts "replied to" and "replies from" links on posts and makes it easier to follow a particular conversation. It also gives members the option of having email notification of replies to their posts. The bigger general reply button at the top and bottom of the page is used for general replies not directed to a particular post. The belief that native americans crossed the land bridge 10,000 years ago is part of the theory that we were once cave men. That never happened. Though descendants of Noah did cross the land bridge, They didnt do it nearly as long ago as you think. As for the celtic religion, It is old, but not the oldest. When Noah's family left Ararat and formed the three first empires: Egypt CHina and Greece, they all spread out and populated different areas. Egyptians probably spread through the Africa/Middle east area, Chinese probably spread throughout Asia, and The Greeks probably spread across Europe (including Scotland). Some of these Greeks probably found the Bering Strait, and traveled to the americas making your Native American Population. And don't go telling me you have proof of your time line through carbon dating either. Carbon dating is completely inacurate. Certain things in the soil mess it up sometimes. One time about three hours away from my own Georgia home, Evolutionists ran carbon dating test on the burnt soil of a small town that had burnt to the ground 30 years earlier. The test said it was a million year old city! So much for your carbon dates.

Actually I was on topic. I strayed a little, but only to prove my point. He tried disproving the flood with claims that were absurd, and had no real historical ground to them. I had to prove my point to the full extent.

You have provided no evidence.

Evolutionists ran carbon dating test on the burnt soil of a small town that had burnt to the ground 30 years earlier. The test said it was a million year old city! I'll bet Kent Hovind made that anecdote up. Ben, would you be so kind as to post a bit more detail over in the Dates and Dating forum? You've been fed a load of bull, but this thread is not where to give you an antidote. And welcome!

...s part of the theory that we were once cave men. That never happened. ... lot lived where after sodom was destroyed?
When Noah's family left Ararat and formed the three first empires: Egypt CHina and Greece noach begat shem, cham, and yepheth. "shem" is the origin of the term "semitic" so he's the father of the hebrew people. cham is a later term for egyptians -- but he's also called the father of canaan. and according to genesis 9:27, yepheth seems to refer to the assyrians, or babylonians, because he will conquer both cham and shem. I had to prove my point to the full extent. But all you provided was assertion after assertion. You don't even have a logical structure that would result in a valid conclusion. Therefore nothing was proven.

The test said it was a million year old city! So much for your carbon dates. You have been (at best) misinformed. "Evolutionists" wouldn't do that because they know that the practical limits of carbon dating is only 50,000 years max, and that NOTHING can be dated to a million years by any known carbon dating method. Rather than encumber this thread with the other fallacies involved here (not least of which is that invalidating carbon dating does not invalidate an old earth, OR that the geological evidence is entirely lacking for any ww flood scenario) take the challenge to answer on the {Age Correlations and an Old Earth: Part III} thread. I'm betting you won't. Denial of evidence is what determines the level of dogmatic belief. Enjoy. This message has been edited by RAZD, 03*30*2006 07:51 AM

Sorry but no, egypt china and greece arn't the oldest empires, you are discounting so many societies that existed before them.
sumer is as old or older than egypt, followed by babylonia, and you forget about india, india is just as old as any of them oh come on, there is so much speculation and misinformation in this post it gives me a head ache, native americans are greeks?!they are mongloids, that came to america at least after the last iceage they have no indication of being less than related to the people who populate eastern asia and no the greeks did not populate europe, they think it might be someone related to the pheonicans or cimmerians{aBElus any number of germanic tribes} This message has been edited by ReverendDG, 03-30-2006 01:27 AM

That is if you believe the flood bloody happened at all, unless you can produce any sort of evidence then i think this is just assertions of the nth degree

Satellite pictures have shown the Ark with exact dimensions described in the Bible. There is a Scientist couple who had the passion to search for it. They actually went there to Mount Ararat and have collected evidence. He lives in my town. I want to locate them and meet them. A Question for everyone: Why would that structure sit on a mountain with snow covered all over if it was not for the flood?
