Terminal topic drift? - Topic probably closing soon

This topic should be a discussion specific to the Cornell University course (see message 1 and the other early messages).

Unless it reconnects to the content of those early messages, this topic should be closed down. As it has long parted company with the core topic theme, it is probably too late to properly reconnect to that core theme.

We shall see what now happens, but I very much see a topic closing coming.
