Notice on reinstatements
Members who are suspended for a limited time (1 day, 1 week, etc) should no long expect an announcement when they are reinstated. The new board software automates the reinstatement, but it does not automatically post a "welcome back" message. In future, expect "welcome back" messages only after an indefinite suspension has ended, or a suspension is ended before the expected time.

Just a little more information on suspensions... Few have probably noticed the little suspension icon ( ) since there are almost no suspensions at present. If you hover your mouse cursor over the suspension icon (not this one, over one for someone who's actually suspended) it will display the time and date when the suspension expires, the number of hours and minutes until the suspension expires, and the reason for the suspension. The suspension icon is displayed next to the name of any member who is suspended, except on the Member List page, where suspensions have their own column on the far right hand side of the table. Click on the "susp" table heading and you'll get a list of everyone who's suspended.

See here and upthread. The "hover message" at the " " does not seem to be working. Also, when I tried to insert a link into the message that won't display, I really got a mess. My impression is that the behaviour of others at that topic also leaves much to be desired. Adminnemooseus

Can you duplicate the behavior? Pick some inactive spammer account and experiment with it, point me to it when you succeed. Use a longer suspension than 2 hours in case I don't get to it right away.
