Added to my list - should be an easy fix! You won't have to change anything, they'll just start displaying at the right size soon.

Useing the latest version of IE I can't stay logged in. When I try to post, edit a post, refresh the main topics page or sometimes even jump between topics I get logged out. I've cleared all my cookies and the probelm persists. This post (if it posts) was done with Netscape 7.1.

When you say you "cleared all my cookies", do you mean that you used the link at the bottom of your profile page? If so, then try deleting cookies for this site from Netscape's Edit
Then switch to FireFox! No just kidding. The above should work.

I just got booted from being logged in because I hit the "Post Reply" button after deleting a troublesome cookie. Said tracking cookie managed 201 hits during a couple of hours last night and an hour tonight, so I got rid of it. The tracking cookie was an evc one and the number of hits was a bit over the top. So, I deleted it while I wrote my post, then tried to post my message - was unceremoniously booted.

In the time it took me to write the few lines above, the tracking cookie jumped aboard again and managed 13 hits!!!!!

I used the profile link to clear the EvC cookies and wiped all my cookies using IE and still get logged out when I try to post or edit using IE. I can post fine with Netscape but prefer using IE.

Hey boss, still not seeing any change in the activity meter for any thread. Is there something I need to do to my computer, or does everyone see zero activity?

0 for me or a little green marker, indicating perhaps only activity since the new board?
Edited by Brad McFall, : No reason given.

Yeah, that's what I assumed yesterday when the board came back up. However, there have been beaucoup pages added to several threads, and the AM still isn't moving at all. No big deal, but it is unusual.

I normally don't use IE. However I gave it a try. I am writing this reply using IE.
I'm not having any problems. IE is working fine, and keeping me logged in. What are your cookie settings tools -> internet options -> privacy ? I'm using the installed defaults (medium, blocks third party cookies in some circumstances). This is with XP pro, but probably similar on other systems using IE6. Same settings as you. I just tried it on my brother's computer and the problem persists.

IE can be very finicky about cookies sometimes. I know it can annoying to delete *all* cookies, but I think that's what you'll have to do. Go to Tools=>Internet Options and click on "Delete..." under "Browing history", then click on "Delete cookies...", then click on "OK".

The activity meter problem has been fixed. Activity meters for threads will read correctly after the next time they're posted to.
