Re: lets be fair now... I've always admitted when I'm outdone...
There are no crimes unless there are morals... If we're just making them up, then tell us so, and quit judging other people...
What makes something a crime, is that it is contrary to the laws. Laws and morals are not the same thing.
Incidently, laws are made by humans, so are relative to the decisions of those humans.

Re: don't you get it... imean c'mon!
the absolute meaning of life
My considered opinion is that 'there ain't no such thing'.
That is your absolute. Everybodys got one, because we can't say what is true without one. The truth is absolute!

Do humans have the right to impose their morality?

Again, you are confusing laws and morality.
The members legislative bodies have the right to impose laws, subject to the constraints of the constitution.

Communities of humans have the right to arrive at a compromise about what morals that community will enforce, yes.

Re: don't you get it... imean c'mon!
I would think you would find it pretty obvious that people don't like to live in chaos. Isn't that exactly what your side tells us will happen if there's no morals?
Absolutely! I'm just shocked that you believe a human being can impose morals on another human being. I mean, you think laws are based on morals that are man-made. Yet you think one man has the right to impose on another.
I think only God has that right. So when I support a law, it is with the understanding that it is true, for example, that we shall not kill. And that to do so is a crime against God more so than myself.

Why?
I mean, you think laws are based on morals that are man-made. Yet you think one man has the right to impose on another.
Sounds about right, yeah. What about that is surprising to you?
And that to do so is a crime against God more so than myself.
So, you only do the right thing because God is going to hurt you if you don't?

Do you hate Santa Claus?
What about Krishna?
The Great Galactic Goat?
I hate evil! Especially when I see it in myself.

That was beautiful Crash... Right there is the heart of it boy!
Harken! I do not do the right thing, and I fear God because my penalty is just!
I was honest with Him about it, and was really broken about it. No fakey fakey! I cried like a baby!
To my suprise, He died for me. So it is not as though I can be righteous. I'm not!
Fortunately He is and He has restored my sight.
You guys are the one's who mock 'sin' remember? I'm free from trying to justify myself. I'm a guilty man, who got off scott free. Not because I'm good, but because the judge is good to those willing to face the music.
Your already guiltless, and it is that attitude that blinds you! You will die not because you sinned so much as because you refuse to admit it. Without opening your hearts to that, you will never see!
I pray that will change!

No, I get it. I used to be a Christian just like you, after all.
Now, I'm not.
Let me repeat that so I'm sure you understand - I totally understand your message. It's absolutely perfectly clear to me. It's also false.

Fine! Even if it is absolutley true, that doesn't mean you have to believe it!
It's either the truest thing in all eternity, or the most damnable lie that ever was!
Whatever the case... 'It is absolute!'
