I'd say that's a distinction without a difference, certainly academic for purposes of the current poll.
Those who would sacrifice an essential liberty for a temporary security will lose both, and deserve neither. -- Benjamin Franklin

As a lurker rather than a poster I may not meet the requirements to participate in this survey. But for what its worth: Grew up a Christian but have spent the last 40 years as athiest/agnostic. However, in recent weeks, Jar's eloquence has me leaning towards theism.

How about undecided? Maybe in another 40 years I'll learn enough here to make an informed decision. For the poll count me as agnostic.

Firmly atheist (concerning a supposed benevolent all-overviewing diety) or agnostic (concerning a sort of first-cause diety). But in any case not finding it worth spending time looking for one

Whose purposes are those? What makes them practical? Will we have beanie weenies in our camp? You get nothing. Just somebody who can't make up their mind.

Annafan I'm surprised this is all that has voted so far. Where is everyone? I'm really curious to see the final results-- which brings me to my next question: When should the final submission be? Should place a date on it? Feedback please.
