That's not an accurate description of Agnosticism.

So many of us at some point find ourselves in a spiritual limbo until we decide that there is a God or there isn't a God
I don't feel like I'm in limbo.
I don't feel like I'm searching for anything, because nothing is missing from my life.
I don't feel any need at all to decide that gods exist or not.
Perhaps Agnostics have a much greater tolerance for uncertainy and ambiguity than everyone else.
It doesn't bother me in the least that I don't know if the supernatural exists or not.

Label me as a weak atheist (with a hunch that the strong atheists have it right).

Ringo writes:
Kinda like having only two bullets in your gun and not knowing who to shoot first?
Six of one and a half-dozen of the other.
Perhaps Ringo is somewhat like Felix the governor in judgement of the apostle Paul who after hearing Paul indicated that he was almost persuaded to become a Christian. In fact Ringo may already be a secret believer or so near that agnostic sounds too dangerous a position for him to voice publicly before God and men.

Applicable to Agnosticism
Schraf, I didn't say it was a comprehensive definition of agnosticism. Specifically why is it not applicable to agnosticism?

Ringo used to be a believer.
But Ringo learned: what Buzsaw thinks he knows, he doesn't know.
Buzsaw is an agnostic, even if he doesn't know it.

Re: More updates
You can count me as a theist. I don't propose to speak for Jar but he has made his position pretty obvious as a theist also.
That's what I thought being that Jar told me that he was not only a Christian, but a Conservative Republican Christian.
Rapture Ready: Message 52
jar said:
I'm coming from a Conservative Christian Republican perspective.
to which nemesis_juggernaut quiped:
quote:
In what regard are coming from the Conservative Christian Republican view, when all of your avowed views are in total contradiction?
Because I happen to be a Conservative Christain republican and so by definition that is my position.
*shrugs*
He flamed me for placing him on the list without his permission so I have removed from the list out of respects to his wishes.

I have an appreciation for agnostics for many of the reasons you listed.
