I don't know who has this sig, but it goes like this:
the modern conservative is engaged in mankind's oldest desire--the search for the moral justification of selfishness.
pretty much, if you're a social conservative, your screwed.
(you know, maybe this is why they are so damn concerned over family values--their own families are falling apart, so naturally, it has to be from outside influences, such as society. Since they can't stand their own families crashing, they're trying to fix everybody, or something like that. so in a way, it shouldn't be surprising that those who eschew a focus on family values have crappy families)

can you say--the dems actually have a chance!
they already found a replacement for Foley. And he's doing just that--I'm not Foley, but my name isn't on the ballots.
(of course, if people stick with the party, like those who would vote in mickey mouse before they would a clinton, it won't really matter who's name is on the ballot)
