Some of us really do hope (fantasize?) that we are selecting from amongst our smartest, most sincere citizens those who we chose to run the country.
The smartest, most sincere citizens are smart enough and sincere enough to stay out of politics. There won't be much improvement until we have campaign reform that ends the absurd level of spending on political advertising.

I absolutely don't find any reason why he and his party are being under attack from all fronts like this.
The right wing, the self-appointed guardians of morality, have found immorality in their midst.

I'm not sure why you would fail to find any reason. Or have you not noticed that the "attacks" are mostly coming from the right?

I was receiving homosexual solicitations, probably around one per month and mostly from strangers, by the time I was age 15. I had no difficulty ignoring them. I took it as part of growing up, that you learn to deal with the world as it is.
