The Rethuglican leadership actually wanted Foley out of there anyway - whenever he went to the House library he'd never use a bookmark. He'd just bend over a page.

I don't think that it should be any big deal except for the fact that Foley was the champion of legislation to forbid the sort of thing he was doing. That makes the schadenfreude component of the issue have that much more Freude for the rest of us...
