My dream...

I had this dream sometime between the ages of 3 and 5.I walked out to the driveway, climbed into the driver's seat of my parents car and shut the door. The car started.I pulled out of the driveway and into the street. The car began moving down the road. My parents exploded from the front door of the house, frantically waving their arms as I left them behind. I passed the houses in my neighborhood, then passed the billboard that stood at the entrance (the image was a pair of eyes).The car accelerated though town. At first the buildings were familiar. Soon I was zooming past buildings I had never seen before. The car kept going faster. I didn't know how to stop it. I did my best to steer.Soon I was out of the city, racing through the countryside, far from everything I knew. The car hurtled faster and faster down the road with each passing mile.

I've had this recurring dream.I dream I win the Lotto, $25,000,000.00.Fifty million other people also pick the correct numbers.The IRS sends me a bill for the tax on $25,000,000.00.The Lotto folk say that the prize must be picked up in person at a ceremony...and will be given out in Alphabetical Order...and my last name starts with Z.

When I was in college I had a recurring dream that I was Brer Rabbit. I would be curious about something and reach out to touch it. My hand would get stuck. I'd start fighting to get it loose but only get more and more of myself stuck.
