That depends. If the 'life' is created by pushing the various chemicals togather in a purposeful manner, and constructing the compoentents in a specific, predetermined manner, then it is 'intelligent design'.

If it is putting the environmental conditions togather, and having the life 'evolve' via natural chemical means, without a 'design' phase, then you are incorrect. It will merely be an example of chemistry working.
