This would be the best answer. seeing as I met my wife on her birthday, then married her 10 days later.

If this is about a relation with a significant other, the your are saying, very poorly, that I can love my wife and one other like I love my wife,or my wife can love me and an other just as she loves me. I did not think of this, in fact I'm not the only one to think you meant 'you can only love two people'.
