If only he had more integrity, he would have admitted it all before the news media cornered him.Actually, all he's really admitted to is maybe a little fibbing! Well, not even that. He was just 'incomplete'.Would this be comprable to Hitler admitting he was a Jew, and maybe his persecution of those people was a bit of a charactor flaw?

Imagine if the fundies had gotten their way with a conservative republican congress to get "faith-based-giving" support for their churches, and then it turned out that the money Jimmy Bakker, Jimmy Swaggart, and Kenny Haggard used to pay their prostitutes (of various persuasions and various proclivities) came directly from tax funds.The next step would then be for congress to set up a department to tightly control and oversee the use of those tax funds. A very big step toward a state sanctioned and controlled religion. This is probably why most sane religious organizations are strongly opposed to tax funds being used for religious purposes of any sort. The man with the gold controls the fold!
