well. taxes have to go up. for someone. preferably for those great big businesses who don't pay any. but that's only because bush keeps spending money we don't have.

i'm very pleased that rather than bothering with an impeachment, pelousi is actually going to do things that matter. we don't have time to waste on that nonsense. we can do it later. for now we need a budget, any at all. we need those lowered student loans she's promising. you want to make america competitive? help college kids. we need a new minimum wage. we need to rescue social security. it's very easy to accomplish. you just have to have everyone pay an equal percentage instead of just the percentage off the first 100k or so. or just cancel it for rich people. they don't contribute proportionally and they still sap it out. plus they have better medical care and live longer. bastards.i'm very pleased that they decided to respond to the wishes of the military. having it headed by that moron without their support is a bad idea.also, i'm listening closely to this abortion case. it's not going the way we thought it would. the supreme court was expected to get all fussy about congress trying to nulify their final say. instead, it seems that they are doing the better option and trying whether or not congress can declare medical science. i'm very hopeful.

well. it is possible that with the weakening of the president's position, we will have a return to true conservatism. "nation building" is against conservative values. they just picked a bad president and party loyalty said they had to stick with him.we just have to get rid of the ideologues and then we can go back to real arguments like spending versus not spending instead of speanding versus spending on haliburton.

yeah well. considering it's usually like 20 or 30 percent who vote, i think we did really well.
