Nemesis Juggernaut

Post: #92
It's a religious/faith post, but what do you expect in F and B?
Anyway, for effort and grammar, this is easily a POTM, by a country mile. It also is a good attempt to articulate why a believer believes, despite none-believers always trying to put belief down as having no credence because of the familiar line of argument; "all religion is the same"
. This post shows that there can be a genuine belief that doesn't require science in the least. It also comes from someone who tried everything aswell as Christ, but still found Christ to be the one true answer that filled his void.

Okay, you might think I'm only nominating because Mod' was being nice to me, but I was honestly satisfied with his reasonable response that cleared things up so well. Infact, forgive my lack of modesty, but I think our exchange as a whole, was pretty high standard stuff.
Also, I believe I have failed to nominate posters for POTM many times this year, despite the fact that I usually organize the POTY competition. Sorry about my recent laziness.

Re: Modulous...silences mike??????
Thanks Mike. I think this is my first POTM for nearly six months - so a welcome and happy surprise!
Constructive and respectful discussion is possible, after all!

Re: Lithodid-Man on sexual reproduction
I second the nomination for Lithodid-Man for his post on sexual reproduction.
Thank you for the time and detail invested in your explanation, I found it a very interesting read.

Poster Of The Year
There is no prize for the POTY competition. Except having the knowledge that you are deemed as a great poster, by the board's members. (It's an homour thing).
Champions so far:
2004: NosyNed
2005: Holmes
(I thought this was an apropriate response Admin, as it pertains to POTM).

Cavediver in Problems with the Big Bang Theory
Nominee: cavediver
Message: Message 78
Thread: Problems with the Big Bang theory
I'm nominating this post for two reasons. First, it is a very clear and brief characterization of a few concepts related to the origins of the Big Bang. Second, and more importantly, a sincere Christian found the information very helpful, and so Cavediver's post might be telling us something about how best to approach this topic with those who are skeptical.

I just saw this. Thanks for poking your head back in ned!

Of course, biblical creationists are committed to belief in God's written Word, the Bible, which forbids bearing false witness; --AIG (lest they forget)

can we nominate a post of the month for post of the month?
Forum: [forum=-23]
Thread: November 2006 Post of the month nominations
Post: Message 30
I'm not sure if this is kosher but I would like to nominate Modulus for his post #30 in this thread. Very clever use of both gravity and lead.
Edited by Admin, : Fix message number.

November's winner
There was a number of ties for second place, with Lithodid, Modulous, and Archer each with nominations a piece.
But Holmes takes the prize with a hardy five nominations in this month.
