Re: PWL
Brad writes a lot of short posts. His problem is not lengthiness but writing so that the rest of us know what he's talking about.

Re: PWL
yeah, I've just seen very few short posts by him. mind you, not as long as Holmes's or RAZD's, but . . .
(maybe they just look longer due to incomprehensibility)

Hi,
How about a spell checker in the message window like yahoo has for their mail?
Better smilies for another.

Re: Controversy is what people thrive for
quote:
And most people on EvC hate creationism and theism.
I think you flatter your side.
quote:
If that's flattery I'd hate to see what a swift kick to the genitals would be considered...
Just to clarify, the reason I wrote what I did is that you flatter your side if you think that most people on EvC hate creationism and theism, since I don't think most people on EvC think or care enough about creationism and theism to hate it.
We oppose creationist's efforts to deceive the public and their dishonest tactics designed to get their religious non-science taught in public school science classes.
But hate creationism? Hate theism?
I no more hate them than I hate belief in a flat earth or belief in the Tooth Fairy.

Re: PWL
I would like to see length limits be one of many new optional parameters to a thread. So as a thread originator, you could specify say a 1000 word limit.
Beyond that there could be an invite system for auto GD style threads and Showcase. Id like to see threads that could be setup with a poll mechanism in place so people could talk and vote at the same time. The voting could be public or private.
I have lots of ideas. =)

Of course, biblical creationists are committed to belief in God's written Word, the Bible, which forbids bearing false witness; --AIG (lest they forget)

Re: PWL
i think there is a column listing the number of replies to a specific thread.
what about a column for how many views said thread has gotten?
