St Cherbel Maklouf is probably not that unusual. Being buried in mud could well produce a anaerobic environment.
St Zita is a whole different story. I am not familiar with anything supernatural about her body or preservation. Her grave was discovered a couple hundred years after her death and the grave was intact as well as seeming undisturbed.

Defy Science?
I am only asking about bodies which do exist and have been examined, and in some cases defy science, not to the extent that such preservations do not occur, but to why it occurred in these situations.
Before you can make such an assertion you need to present an example where the alleged incident has been examined in detail in a real scientific manner. So far I have seen NO such examples presented.
Or ...
better yet, take it to James Randi. He has a Million Dollar Challenge sitting there for anyone who can present such a critter.

Re: The Answer's in Anastasia
If it could, then Jesus didn't need to die.
Jesus was born. Therefore He would die.
That was never in doubt.
Any man born will die.

Re: The Answer's in Anastasia
But you said:
No, not any man. Only a sinner.
Jesus died. Jesus was a sinner.
Getting way too far off topic but start a thread on it.

Off Topic so one response only
More pointless irrelevant nonsense rob. Also misrepresenting what I said.
Start a thread on it if you wish, but so far you are simply misrepresenting what I posted, as usual.
jar said any man born will die.
scottness said "No, not any man. Only a sinner."
jar replied "Jesus died. Jesus was a sinner."
Then scottness, showing his inability to read and follow a conversation posted...
What charges do you bring against Him?
It was not me who indicted Jesus scottness but you.

Re: Topic
Yes, and so I suggest that we do just that and have you stop this inane preaching.
Inane is a good word for it, lacking sense, significance, or ideas; silly, empty and void.
The topic is on Miracles, and whether any documented miracles can be verified not on irrelevant sermonizing.
One problem is that most folk claiming miracles are also unwilling to submit the objects or events to scientific examination.
So is there much that can be determined other than some folk believe that some miracles happened but since they have not been subjected to scientific rigor miracles can never be more than simply beliefs?
