Re: Science has to remain objective
Hovind is a crank with a worthless Papermill Phd that's not worth toilet paper.
If Hovind feels like suing me (and I live in the UK so it's pricy to do) for libel, feel free to put him in touch. Of course to win, he'd have to present his PhD to the court and show that it's not a papermill one. Fat chance of that.

Re: Re-Reading Beagle
If I remember correctly Darwin was talking about the cultural aspects of the Fuegians society - which would be in keeping of the worldview of the time.
I've never seen reference to a zoo either.

The IRS is not part of the government
quote:
The IRS is a bureau of the Department of the Treasury and one of the world's most efficient tax administrators
So it and the Department of the Treasury are not part of the government?
http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=98141,00.html
Please explain further - are you maybe confusing the IRS with the Federal reserve (which lots of whackos make the claims you have about the IRS)?

Back to Dr. Dino
What was all this about:
quote:
In a recording of one of the telephone conversations played in court Friday, Hovind said the Internal Revenue Service, presiding judge and prosecutor broke the law by going after him, and there were things he could do "to make their lives miserable."
Wonder what he meant?
