EvC Chess Tournament

It's because we're all in the thick of battle!I must admit though, I find it hard to concentrate on my moves. I've made most of my moves in under 1 minute, which is really bad form. The next game that I start, I'm going to try think about each move more.

I guessed you were good Omni from some of your chess posts here .Omni opened with a Sicilian against me (I think). When the opponent does any openings other than King’s pawn or Queen’s pawn, I get worried for my health . I’ve never done a Sicilian, but I tried it in a game Tusko challenged me to, and I have no idea what to do with it, haha. It’s caused me to become very cramped behind my pawns, whereas Omni's donee everything right with the Sicilian so far (I think).My other game, with Kurusu, isn’t going too hot either. I’ve made some genuine, bonafied mistakes in that one.But who cares, it’s great to be playing chess again .

You should try chessanytime.com. There are a lot of good players on there. It's a real-time java applet, and moves can take as little as a second to pass, so you gotta think quick .

I'm okay, thanks for the concern . I should apologise to Anglagard I didn't have the motivation to play chess last week. This week will be a different story I promise.

I'm online for the next hour or so now. I usually log straight out of Gameknot when I've made my moves and then wait for the emails to come.
