"Why" does the world exist?

I have heard many people in the world debate many religions. I have even heard people consider the fact that all religions are made up. I have one question for all religions and non-religions: Why does the whole world exist. The scientist have no answer to this question. They can only describe how they think the world came into existance. The question, "why does the world exist?" can not be answered with the scientific method. It seems to be that no religions have even answered this question. Does any member of this board think there is a reason for this world to exist? Why does this all have to happen?
