I turned 47 last year and became a grandmother (Oma).

Ugh! 29... I'll be 30 this year. I can't believe it.

Ferret brain activity increased just 20 percent when looking at Keanu Reeves compared to looking at darkness, the study found.

Is that all, CD? Man, I'd guessed that you were around 60, based on your knowledge of cosmology and the like. You've always struck me as someone with a lifetime of study behind them. Now I feel even more inferior than I did before.

Me, too, cavediver: I thought you were hoary and gray.

44, I have a daughter near your age
I'm 45, and my daughter is only 4.
I have an 11-year-old daughter, too, though, and my oldest son is 16.
Still, I'll be 58 when the last one leaves the house. Whew.
My family lives with another. The dad of that family is 60, and his youngest daughter is just 11.

An ancient and decrepit 30, time to look for a good retirement home.

I resemble this remark. 30 for me too, and happy to be in some type of minority here between the know-it-alls, and the think-they-know-it-alls, which is not meant ot be offensive, mind you...It is just nice, looking back and knowing you are over the hurdles of teen and young adult illusions, and nice also to imagine that there is still time to catch up to the brilliant minds around here. If I am lucky, that is.

I'm 28, will be 29 in May, and suddenly finding that getting older isn't nearly as bad as I feared when I was 23.
Edited to add: Couldn't agree more with what you said above me, Anastasia.

Holy Toledo
I can't believe so many people actually want to tell their age. This really has me astounded. Thanks guys (and you gals).

19 years old.
I don't get to post much, but I read most of the threads. Just waiting to get in on a thread which interests me before it's already got 200 posts. Six engineering courses and drinking doesn't leave me with much free time (priorities, priorities).

Re: Holy Toledo
Why not? You should soon have enough to work out a pretty accurate average for the site. No over 60s I noticed, so far, or under 18s.
