The problem with the trial, as described in the GOspels is that the laws were not followed. Jewish law was not followed.
The Jewish law for capital offenses specifically says that the trial had to have lasted at least 3 days. There also was a law against having people executed just before the sabbath, or on high holy days. Also, the entire sandrhedrin would have had to be present at the trial, and there had to be a time period where people went out as heralds to insure there wasn't a reason not to execute someone.
That being said, the piece of evidence that might have had any kind of meanign to me was missing from the tomb. There wasn't a body in the Jesus ossurary that showed signs of being cruxified.
