I've noticed that of the conservative posters who have given their ages, they are mostly either rather older than most or younger than most. I'm curious, being in the 30 to 60 age group, are you marking me as conservative, progressive, or neither?

I'm 23 and I'll be 24 on the 15th of May, though the time difference is about 10 hours between me and the USA.
Kuresu: I think you should do the standard dev. not just the average age. Great idea though!

you do the standard deviation. I don't know how to make them (only how to read).

quote:Take solace in the fact that there are some sports left where you can still reach the top tier without being in your peak physical condition; namely, ultimate frisbee. That dreams still alive for me (though notably, you don't get paid much at the higher echelons). Also, let's not forget that Randy Couture, at age 43, just become the new UFC heavy weight champion...there is hope yet.

Why not? You should soon have enough to work out a pretty accurate average for the site. No over 60s I noticed, so far, or under 18s.
I'm almost 68, and I am originally from Toledo.

being the only character from the city, state, and geographical area in MASH, he just might (though of the lower, working class). Was meant to be a funny question, but I screwed it up, apparantely.

Well, I wan't a big MASH watcher, so I didn't really know the Klinger character. I'm not sure what Toledo represents anymore. Most of her glass industry has left. I think the Jeep Liberty plant in Toledo has closed. Other bad stuff too. But the university and its med school is strong and I have friends back there who still enjoy it. I've been living in Washington state since 1969”Seattle area mostly. My 50th high school reunion back in Toledo comes around this August. I have never been to one before and I don't know if I should go back after 50 years. It was a large class of '57, about 500 in that industrial-age high school, and I knew only about 100 of them.

It's the "over thirty to under sixty" group that seem to be more progressive. Iano is the only one I recall being in the middle. I wonder what that means? I packed all the liberal years an average person can expect to string out over some decades into an "insanely progressive" few years?? The objective evidence would certainly back up the notion. [laying myself wide open for a wise-crack rebuttal is my 40th b.d. gift to you. Like all gifts, it needs to be accepted]

You're confusing liberal with libertine a common conservative error. Good to see you back. Real things always push back. -William James Save lives!
