Re-Doubt
Hi Phat,
Discuss why Christians or anyone else should or should not doubt,
I don't claim to be a Christian just a Child of the King. So I guess that would put me in the anyone else crowd.
I have been reading these posts for some time now and I have a lot of doubts, but I do not know what your limits are here as to what doubts I can express, and why I should have those doubts.
There are some things I do not doubt can these be included?
Phat, would you please clarify for me.

Re-Doubt
Topic Question: Discuss why Christians or anyone else should or should not doubt, and whether it is ever appropriate to take a stand rather than remaining ever questioning and uncommitted.
I do not doubt God.
I do not doubt Jesus came.
I do not doubt Jesus died on the cross for my sins and everybody else's.
I do not doubt Jesus was crucified.
I do not doubt Jesus was buried.
I do not doubt Jesus came forth from the grave.
I do not doubt Jesus was seen at least 7 times by apostles after his
Resurrection.
I do not doubt Jesus ascended into heaven.
I do not doubt Jesus is coming again soon.
I do not doubt Jesus is going to judge the quick and the dead.
I do not doubt that everyone whose name is not written in the book of
Life will be cast into the lake of fire.
I do not doubt that most of you will think this is silly and rubbish.
I do not doubt that what I believe makes any difference to anybody
but me and my God.
Now my doubts:
I doubt that a lot of so called Christians will make it to the New
Jerusalem.
I doubt that evolution will ever tell me where life came from and
why.
I doubt that evolution will ever tell me where the little hot infinite nothing came from, that the universe came from or why.
I doubt if any evolutionist will ever admit that they have to believe
by faith the answer to my 2 preceding doubts.
I do not see how anyone can believe in the Theory of of evolution.
Hold on I did not say evolution, change over time is fact.
It takes a lot more faith to believe something came from nothing than it does to believe in God.
Now if evoution could tell me, where life came from and why
Where the small infinite thing came from that spawned universe and why.
I think everyone who has not been born again that believe something
came from nothing should have GREAT DOUBT.
If I ever had any doubts the past 20 days removed all doubt's that I might have ever had.

Re-Taking a Stand
address the point in the OP about 'when it is good to take a stand'.
When you have taken all you can it is time to take a stand. Message 169

Re-Doubts and Logic
Ringo writes:
The supernatural - if it exists - inherently has no natural symptoms. It can not be "proven".
To me it has been Proven. The supernatural tells me where the Universe came from. It tells me where Life came from.
Science cannot tell me the answer to these two questions.
Where did life come from? Science says nothing.
God said I created it.
Where did the universe come from? Science says an infinitely hot little nothing.
God says I created it.
Since Science cannot answer the 2 most important questions why should I trust Science over my faith in God.
Phat writes:
Man! I am glad for you! I wish that I had no doubts!
Thanks Phat but I do have a lot of doubts. I just don't have any when it comes to my God. He has carried me through too many places that I could not have made it in the past 67 years.
I don't doubt that it is hard for an unbeliever to understand how we feel and how we can know what we believe. They do not realize that it is spiritually discerned. It has nothing to do with logic.
I don't doubt that to Ringo logic is all important. But God defies logic.
I don't doubt that Jesus called Lazarus from the grave after he had been buried for 3 days. But that is totally illogical because it is humanly impossible.
I doubt very seriously that Science can ever reproduce the creation of the universe from nothing so it will never be a scientific fact.
I doubt that science will ever produce life in a lab from nothing without outside intelligent help.
Until then I take God at his word because that takes less faith.

Re-Numbers
If you don't believe that there are so many different denominations, look it up yourself.
I did my source says 1,200 denomintions in the US and worldwide 34,000 seprate Christian groups.
