this would be easier if we had 2 more people who wanted to play.
I'm willing to play, assuming you can find a second person. I've never been as good at online chess as real-life chess (which I'm not very good at, anyway) but I'll give it a shot.

Re: One More Person . . .
I've registered and my name there is "tudwell", just like here.

Re: Tournament Challenge Order
I've never had anyone answer my d4 with f6 before.
Well, it's actually part of a bigger plan (which probably won't be possible now, due to subsequent moves).
It was very tempting to go look up the opening so I'd know how to handle it
I don't know how much that would help you, because I've never read a book about chess in my life and am not very savvy in orthodox openings and strategies. I just play my games by ear.

Re: Are we still playing?
I'm going to try think about each move more.
The problem for me is each move takes so long, by the time it's my turn again I've forgotten what I was planning on doing. Just a few moves ago I was sitting there thinking, "Now why did he do that?" It took me about five minutes to remember that previously my knight was there and he had decided to sacrifice his bishop to take it.

Re: Are we still playing?
Ah, yes. I just discovered the 'Analyze the Board' feature. Very helpful.

Nemesis is gone for roughly 3ish months or so. He's with the Coast Gaurd right now.
Yeah. So what do I do about our game?

Tudwell v. Zawi
Game underway here.
I don't know why Zawinul timed out of his game with Anglagard, but he seems fine now.

Re: so . . .
Zawinul's and my game is gong a bit slowly. If we could find a time when both of us are online at the same time, we could get much more accomplished in a much shorter amount of time. But every time I see the little green online icon illuminated, he's back offline after I move.
Oh, and I sent you a challenge because I got bored waiting for Zawinul to move. (No pressure, Z. Take your time.)

So it's been about a week and a half. How are everyone's games coming? I think I'm a round ahead of everyone; not only do I have to wait for this round to finish, I've already completed my game for next round too. Ah, well.
