My apologies for misreading you, Percy. I get it right often but admittedly do have my senior moments. Perhaps the day will come when you'll get a taste of crow as well.
Ringo has described an almost obsessive/compulsive behavior when reviewing his messages for errors before posting them. It sounds not too unlike myself. It takes more time up-front, but it saves time on the back end correcting errors and explaining what you really meant.

This is due to a disability, though.

Disclaimer:
Occasionally, owing to the deficiency of the English language, I have used he/him/his meaning he or she/him or her/his or her in order to avoid awkwardness of style.
He, him, and his are not intended as exclusively masculine pronouns. They may refer to either sex or to both sexes!

I know, but it doesn't take a disability to produce a first draft that is pure rubbish. Trust me on this!

I have noticed that his avatar becomes cuter from time to time. I have gender dyxlexia when I type.

Re: Moderation Request
I don't recall Ringo ever stating what gender s/he is. In fact I thought the Sharon avatar was meant to keep that bit of information cryptic, especially since it was a 180 from Lee Van Cleef.

I do. In fact, the only time she ever told anyone on this board of her gender was the time someone implied that... never mind. Why the hell do I care anyway?

I didn't find a venue for direct contact with either gentlemen, but did find a possible indirect contact via their respective associations to which I sent requests for direct contact. We'll see what comes up.

Topic Issue
Due to some topic flagging in this thread I am requesting permission to respond to Jar's message 54 in this thread. I have sound corroborating on topic support for my position here. This is on topic as per the thread title and OP to refute the contention of some in this thread who are trying to argue that all humans are sons of God.

Edited by Adminnemooseus, : Tweek topic URL from containing "m=31#54" to "m=54#54". Things work best when those numbers are the same.

I'd like to request moderators to try to limit your comments about individual posters' abilities and attitudes. I'm referencing this great debate between simple and RAZD.
The point is for lurkers and other passerbys to read and judge for themselves whos' got the evidencial high ground. You're making a martyr out of simple by using your mod accounts to make unwarranted remarks.

Behe, Baumgardner Contact Update
Hi Percy. I have managed to contact both gentlemen now and heard back from Dr Michael Behe. He has advised that I contact (Intelligent Design and Evolution Awareness Center), which I have done. I have contacted this organization with my request and am waiting for responses from Dr. Baumgardner and these folks. Behe says these are young science apprised people for the most part and would likely be my best bet for possible recruitment to our site. I'll keep you posted on this.

Sleazy creationist tactics
I note that Nemesis Juggernaut has chosen to revive an months-old Showcase thread as an excuse to make the usual Creationist slanders about evolution.
If he really wants to discuss the subject - and I don't think that he does - he has every opportunity to propose a thread to deal with the issue in the other forums. The only advantage of using the Showcase forum, are to escape moderation and to make it harder for people to point out the falsehoods in his post. Hardly noble motives.
Edited by PaulK, : Corrected age of old thread

To AdminPD
here
I would like it noted that you do not see presumptions of moral superiority as insulting. You see only harsh language as insulting. There was nothing personal in that post. I am perfectly willing to say the same thing to any other moralizing moron who happens along.

Re: To AdminPD
I too must call shenanigans on AdminPD. Going back to the opening post, it wasn't just about deathbed conversions. It's about we'll all obviously have deathbed conversions, given that...
...we were all created to worship God, and that given Jesus's death and the deposit of the Holy Spirit, we all know God, regardless of our religion.
Now I know it would be a shame if we got sidetracked away from riVeRraT saying, "Nuh-uh, you WILL believe in God! ADMIT IT ADMIT IT ADMIT IT!" over and over and over and over again. Really, just a stunning loss to the collective wisdom of mankind. But since riVeRraT's whole premise is based on a pretty fierce misunderstanding of atheists, it would seem that what atheists believe, and how it compares Christian belief, is pretty relevant.

"I know some of you are going to say 'I did look it up, and that's not true.' That's 'cause you looked it up in a book. Next time, look it up in your gut."
