Hello!
I would like to ask you for help. Im student from slovenia, im studying 1. year electrical
engeniring. I apology for my bad english. Im trying to calculate magnetic field around
box with measure ab and length l, it is like cable which is not round but square.
I allready calculate magnetic field around flat with width a and length l,
and i get B(x) and B(y) ( used Biot-savart law). I wonder if I can sum up flats and then
i get field around "square cable"? I need expresion Of B(x) an B(y) and i have no idea
how to start.

EvC Forum isn't the best place to pose this question, but I'm sure there are some electrical engineers here. I'm an EE myself, but I've forgotten more field theory than I ever learned.
I wonder if the geometry of your cable is irrelevant, and that it's instead the cross sectional area that you have to pay attention to. Or perhaps it's only the current that matters, though you don't mention current as part of the problem.
Your idea of integrating across the flats from 0 to b also sounds promising.

magnetic field
If you are measuring the magnetic field outside of a magnetized box, the field at any given point is just the sum of the fields of each side. At least as far as I can remember from my physics class from last year
Good luck
