Having read through much of Doddy's "Most convincing evidence for evolutionary theory" thread, I thought it would only be fair to see what the creationists on this forum consider their most convincing evidence for the origins of the universe/life/humans/etc.
Perhaps there is something you usually like to bring out to challenge an evolutionist? Or perhaps you are open to evolutionary theory, but there is this glaring problem you see that causes you to remain a creationist. Perhaps your even an evolutionist, but in your open mindedness, you would like to share a good argument you have heard from a creationist.
I would like as much detail as possible in your answers. So rather than rattling off a quick list of things, I would prefer to see one example in detail. Perhaps you could even include the evolutionist belief on that matter, and then conclude with why you still believe the creationist argument (any links to more detailed sources would be helpful as well).
I would also ask that we behave as gentlemen or ladies here. Doddy's thread contained a great deal of creationist bashing, I hope here we can present our ideas in a more mature manner.

Interesting posibility but...
I sense vast potential to turn into a disaster area.
One idea is to turn this into an honorable topic in the "Showcase" forum, where we can individually select who gets to post there. My thought would be to restrict it to professed young earth creationists only. Perhaps we would need a separate permissions request topic. All this would be an alternative to having a "Creationists Only" forum, something we don't have.
Members other than Dierotao can input their opinions at the "Considerations..." topic, link below.
We may also need a "Private Administration Topics" topic on this.

It really helps moderators figure out if a topic is disintegrating because of general misbehavior versus someone in particular if the originally non-misbehaving members kept it that way. When everyone is prickly and argumentative and off-topic and personal then it's just too difficult to tell. We have neither infinite time to untie the Gordian knot, nor the wisdom of Solomon.
There used to be a comedian who presented his ideas for a better world, and one of them was to arm everyone on the highway with little rubber dart guns. Every time you see a driver doing something stupid, you fire a little dart at his car. When a state trooper sees someone driving down the highway with a bunch of darts all over his car he pulls him over for being an idiot.
Please make it easy to tell you apart from the idiots. Source

hmm, I didn't realize this would need to be such a big deal. Can't we just put it under "Miscellaneous Topics in Creation/Evolution" like Doddy's and moderate it heavily? I didn't really want to limit it to young earth creationists either, as maybe some people from the other side could provide useful viewpoints still. But maybe I'm being too optimistic, and the thread would quickly get run over by the less mature evolutionists of this forum. Oh, and what is the "Private Administration Topics" topic?
I haven't been around here too long, so do whatever you think would lead to the most beneficial and on-topic posts on the subject.

There's an identical thread that IamJoseph has been trying to start for a while. He ran into a bug while editing, let me copy your OP into his and release that thread. Closing this one down.
